ASHA Foundation   ASHA comes from the Sanskrit root meaning “eternal law,” “the inherent nature of existence.” In Avestan Persian the word ASHA means “the righteous way” and “divine justice.” In many languages it also means “hope.”

At the ASHA Foundation, we have come together from across racial, religious and regional boundaries with this common vision. The projects that ASHA are involved in reflect our ethos of assisting people and organisations, regardless of their religious or cultural affiliations. ASHA also believes in supporting micro-organisations and individuals in the good work that they do.

ASHA has received the support of diverse communities and religions the world over, and one of our most exciting collaborative projects is to create the ASHA Centre.

Finally, Women, A World of Inspiration is a project that embodies the vision of the ASHA Foundation. The outstanding women featured come from diverse backgrounds and achievements, but have one thing in common: they are part of a collective, noble endeavour to create a better world.
