| Isabel Morgan graduated with a BA (Hons) in English from
St Hughs College, Oxford and has since built a successful media career.
She began working at a community TV station in Sheffield and then spent
ten years as a journalist in Visnews (now Reuters Television) before moving
to Worldwide Television News (now APTN) where she edited Roving Report,
an award-winning current affairs programme, distributed to fifty broadcasters
in forty countries.
After twenty years in television news and current affairs, Isabel is
now the executive producer of the broadcast and video unit at the international
development agency, Christian Aid. In this role, she uses video in innovative
ways to support the work of Christian Aid and its global network of partner
organisations, raising awareness of the causes of poverty, and ensuring
voices from the developing world reach an international audience through
the Internet and television.
