Jan Morgan

Following a varied career involving textile design, nursing, sugar and licorice importation and property acquisition, in 1978 Jan Morgan founded Grosvenor International, her up market real estate brokerage. This primarily focuses on Central London and serves high profile figures, top executives and people from the media world who require a discreet, hands-on, bespoke service.

Jan Morgan has been an active member of the International Womens Forum for 18 years and is the immediate past President of IWF London. She is now concentrating on support for Northern Ireland and chairing a group of European Presidents to extend and enrich IWF in Europe

Her interests include all aspects of health and she is a Patron and former Chair of The Alzheimer’s Research Trust in Cambridge and a Trustee of the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust. She trained originally as a nurse at University College Hospital, London and is an award winning garden designer and gardener. Jan loves classical music, especially opera; design and architecture; good food, travel and entertaining her family and friends.

As a ‘relatively uneducated entrepreneur driven by opportunity and optimism’, Jan sees her two most worthwhile achievements to date as having helped to put Alzheimer’s on the public agenda and establish the Alzheimer’s Research Trust as the leading UK research charity. She has established an active and homogenous group of women leaders in Northern Ireland under a joint IWF umbrella of the London and Ireland (Dublin) branches, who are drawn from across all political and religious persuasions and from diverse working backgrounds. This is apparently a first group of leaders of its kind in Northern Ireland.
