Julie Mellor

Julie Mellor is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and previously was the Chair of the Equal Opportunities Commission.

Prior to these appointments, Julie was Corporate Human Resources Director for British Gas and has more than 20 years experience of human resources management in a wide range of environments, from the Greater London Council, to Shell and TSB.

She was recently appointed Chair of Fathers Direct and is a board member of the Employers’ Forum on Disability and the National Consumer Council. Julie is a former Commissioner of the Commission for Racial Disability and the National Consumer Council, and a former Commissioner of the Commission for Racial Equality.
