| Lindsay Rosenhead first trained and qualified as a Fashion
Designer in London. After three years as a practising designer in London,
Lindsay joined Vogue magazine as a Fashion Advisor and then as Promotion
Manager.
The following six years were spent in Paris writing a worldwide syndicated
news letter for Vogue Patterns (based on her contacts with the couture
fashion houses) and simultaneously working as Publicity Editor for the
French edition of Vogue. Returning to London with her husband and baby
daughter, Lindsay joined the International Wool Secretariat as their UK
Head of Fashion for several years.
She left to open her own Fashion Consultancy with clients such as Gimbel-Saks
(New York), Harrods, Liberty, Times Newspapers and Promostyl (Paris).
During this time, Lindsay was also a visiting lecturer, speaker and assessor
at various fashion colleges and education conferences.
Drawn into higher education, she took over the Directorship of one of
London’s major fashion courses, and continued to freelance. Promoted
into University of Westminster’s senior management, Lindsay organised
major conferences and events, including a visit to the new campus by Her
Majesty the Queen.
Lindsay continues to work in consultancy, and runs a professional women’s
network, organising an annual music festival and giving advice to young
fashion professionals. |
